Finally the moment everyone in the venue had been waiting for The Maine took center stage.
The Maine consists of lead vocalist, guitarist and pianist John O’Callaghan, lead guitarist Jared Monaco, bass guitarist Garrett Nickelsen, drummer Patrick Kirch, and rhythm guitarist Kennedy Brock. The Maine is an American rock band from Tempe, Arizona and have been in the scene for almost twenty years.
The lights dimmed down as the band members made it to the stage. John brought the evening to life singing “Thoughts I Have While Lying in Bed” first, then he followed up with “I Think About You All the Time”.
During “Sticky” John went into the crowd to dance and had a few fans sing into the microphone turning it into a karaoke moment. Before singing “Into Your Arms” John took a shot. They played fan favorites such as “Blame”, “Slip the Noose”
Even though John had a broken rib during this show, he still gave it his all and the only reason the fans knew he was hurt was because he mentioned it. Justin, the Maine’s manager came out for several songs to sing with them.
The Maine brought Moody Joody, Grayscale, and Nightly to sing “Take Me Dancing”, during this song green balloons were thrown into the crowd.
To bring the magical night to an end The Maine sang “Black Butterflies and Deja Vu” John once again went into the crowd to sing with them, and crowd-surfed back to stage at the end.
