The city of Dallas welcomed almost monday on the warm and mostly clear evening of October 27, 2026 making it the perfect setting for an outdoor concert at the venue AM/FM Dallas.
The San Diego trio Dawson Daugherty (vocals), Luke Fabry (bass/keys), and Cole Clisby (guitar) are known as almost monday.
almost monday hit the road for their THANK GOD IT’S ALMOST MONDAY TOUR. This is to celebrate the release of their sophomore album of the same name that was released in September.
As the concert was getting ready to start, a crew member got on stage and informed the fans that almost monday had a small request for them and that was for them to send a text to a number provided so they could pick a few lucky fans and do a small meet and greet after the show. Soon after, almost monday took center stage.
Dawson started the night with “delicate” followed by “class a” and “no more regrets”. Their setlist included “lost”, “french kids”, “only wanna dance”, “leaving is easy” and fan favorites “cough drops” and “can’t slow down”.
Their high energy, confidence on stage, and their fast tempo catchy songs gives almost monday a 70’s vibe that is well received by their fans.
Throughout their time on stage you could feel the positive energy and the enjoyment of performing almost monday felt a feeling that was reciprocated by the crowd.
The audience sang and danced along to every song with Dawson. Both the fans and the band kept that same high energy going the whole night.
As the band walked off the stage the fans started chanting “one more song”, unfortunately almost monday did not do an additional song however that did not change the fact that everyone had an amazing night.
With their high-tempo tracks, carefree energy, almost monday forces you to forget about your problems and enjoy the moment creating an unforgettable experience.
They are definitely a band that are fun to watch even if you do not know their catchy songs
The North American part of the tour runs through November with Salt Lake City being the last day of the tour. They also play a few festivals in the month of December.
Starting in January the UK/Europe and Australian leg of the tour resumes and goes through May 2027. This is a band you do not want to miss so try to catch a show. Tickets are being sold here!
