On Monday night, Terminal West opened their doors for Quarters. The New York band consists of Ben (lead vocals/guitar), Jasper (guitar), and Attila (drums). They just released their new album “I Hope this isn’t the End of the World”, and everyone was eager to hear it live.
At nine pm, lights went down and the band started with “EZ.” Lead singer Ben rocked a graphic black tee with a screw design and black jeans, while Jasper wore a “New York Dolly” shirt with , and Attila was styling a wife beater tank. The crowd’s energy was just getting started. They then played some new tunes from their recent album, “Plummet,” and “SuperSonic.” Lights beamed red and yellow. Throwing it back to 2022, they played “Kiwi,” their biggest song to date. Fans sang along to every word, and there was not a frown in sight. Quarters then played a mix of their new and old tracks such as “Star,” “Depression,” and “Rift.” They ended the night with “T Love,” a song about insecurity and unrequited love.
This show really defined the growth of Quarters. I saw them, back as an opening act, years ago and it was amazing to see them in this new era. The album is a testament of how important music means to them. If you have a chance to catch a Quarters show, you will not regret it!
