The House of Blues Dallas opened its doors to welcome Hawthorne Heights for the second leg of the “Lonely World Tour” celebrating the 20th anniversary of their If Only You Were Lonely album with support from Creeper and letlive.
First up were English rock band Creeper, who opened their set with “Mistress of Death” followed by “Lovers Led Astray”. The fans sang, danced, and hyped the band up as they moved across the stage full of energy. During one of their songs, lead singer Will Gould asked the crowd to do a circle pit which they were happy to comply with. Before exiting the stage the band thanked the fans for being there and encouraged them to stop by their merch table to say “hi”.

Next were letlive, an American rock band from Los Angeles. Full of energy from the moment they took over the stage, the band started their set with “Le Prologue”, “The Sick, Sick, 6.8 Billion”
Lead vocalist Jason Aalon Butler jumped from one end to another of the stage engaging with the crowd that helped keep the momentum going for the remainder of the night.

Hawthorne Heights is an American rock band made up of lead singer and rhythm guitarist JT Woodruff, Matt Ridenour on bass and backing vocals and Mark McMillon on lead guitar and unclean vocals.
As the lights dimmed down, the crowd erupted into cheers to welcome Hawthorne Heights on stage, who were celebrating twenty years of their second studio album If Only You Were Lonely.
In addition to playing If Only You Were Lonely in its entirety they also sang “Bring You Back”, preceded by a tribute video for their late friend and band member Casey Calvert, followed by “Dandelions/Niki FM”. While engaging with the fans, JT mentioned that they wrote “Ohio is For Lovers” 23 years ago so their song writing skills were different back then however, now they are “better at playing guitar and writing lyrics” so they would like to play their newly released song “Like A Cardinal”.
To bring the night to an end they played the song that put them on the map allowing them to become the band that they are today. As “Ohio Is for Lovers” started everyone in the crowd started to cheer. JT got off the stage and stood by the barricade so he could fully emerge in the crowd’s energy as everyone sang along, because being emo was never a phase.
As the song ended JT and the band thanked everyone for being there, the lights were turned back on and the crowd started leaving the venue thus ending the night on a high note.
