The LA based Alternative Pop Rock band, Weathers, kicked off their Weathers Sucks Tour early this month. The intimate Cambridge Room of The House of Blues in Dallas, TX was more than perfect to host their visit. They are an energetic bunch with most of their songs characterized by upbeat melodies. I was able to catch a glimpse of their VIP performance as I arrived early and they already put on quite the show. 3 studio albums, 8 EPs, and multiple fan-favorite singles show clear signs of this group’s ongoing traction. I spoke to fans before the show started who have been loyal to them for years and who have recently discovered them. They all could not hold their excitement and promised me a good show ahead. I felt their enthusiasm.

Kid Baron opens the show and the trio immediately catches everyone’s attention. Originating from LA with the headliners, they come out swinging playing their most popular songs in media platforms like “Play The Fool” and “Outrun Myself”. I’m biased with my generational music but my favorite song of their set was a cover of “Sk8er Boi”. Their music is upbeat just as well and definitely gets you moving. They are a band to look out for. Young but they play seasoned. It was a fun and good performance from start to finish.

“Dallas! Let’s Party!” and the crowd goes wild as Weathers hits the stage. Non-stop upbeat tunes that fans were dancing and singing to word for word were played the entire set. The Cambridge Room is so intimate that you could see every on-goer moving, swaying, and jumping to the melodies. Their sound blends really with the acoustics and ambiance of the room. They have incredible stage presence. It makes sense why Weathers has garnered so much popularity. And revealing new music on the way just did it for fans who were already giving their all as the band put on an incredible and unforgettable show in Dallas.

The Weathers Sucks Tour will continue until June 14 this year where the band is set to close out in their hometown. Follow the tour and the band HERE. Grab a ticket and avoid major FOMO! If you’re a fan of the genre, fun and upbeat music in general, then you will love this show.
