With only a handful of shows left on their biggest tour to date, the duo of Never Ending Fall and The Hails brought their co-headliner to the iconic House of Blues’ Cambridge Room in Dallas, Texas last weekend. Along with their opener The Thing With Feathers, the night felt truly electric from start to finish.
It is so rare to see an opener command the room with the stage presence of a headliner, but The Thing With Feathers did just that, and more. Their claim as “the best damn rock show on the road” was no hyperbole, making great use of their short set to get the crowd going. Feeling like the ultimate dance party, these Nashville rockers are definitely ones to watch.

Seeing a band put one hundred percent of themselves in their music and performance is quite a special experience, and it’s safe to say Never Ending Fall did not disappoint on that front. With roots stemming from the fourth grade, lead vocalist and guitarist Jack Miller, drummer Tommy StClair, guitarist Pearce Eisenhardt and Conrad Boyd, and lastly bassist Johnny Hohman put on a show for the ages. Including some of their best tracks like “American Disco”, “Like She Does”, and “Bad Taste” just to name a few, and a surprise cover of Kings of Leon’s Sex on Fire, their set is sure to get any rock lover moving.

Although The Hails bring a chiller vibe to the table, that didn’t stop the party for a second. Starting the show with “Sippin’ On The Daylight”, front man Robbie Kingsley’s smooth persona fits the indie rock mold perfectly. Focusing on songs off their 2023 release What’s Your Motive, their twelve- song set was the perfect way to cap the night. Ending the show with an energizing final of “Stay”, fans were certainly left with a night to remember.
Although the tour ends at the end of this month, you can keep up with Never Ending Fall and The Hails on their socials for any updates on shows or new music!
