Emei just released the final preview to her much anticipated EP RABBITHOLE that is due to release November 15, 2024. “9 LIVES” is now available on all platforms. The 25 year old New Jersey native has all the momentum from her very successful debut album SCATTERBRAIN and has quickly followed it up with a few song releases from her upcoming EP.

“9 LIVES” is Emei’s first venture into acoustic sound. The lyrics are deep and relatable which have been characteristic of her songs. Her high-octane voice is mesmerizing to say the least. The rhythm and guitar compliments all this and the next thing you know, you are hooked. The song shows her growth and depth as she continues to venture into finding her own unique sound. The EP promises a good symphonic spiral of variance and emotion that touches daily issues and psyches which will surely connect old and new fans.  “All of [the songs] are like going through this journey of going down into panic and anxiety and then coming out of it,” she says. “I spent the past year or two really developing and figuring out my sound, the visuals,” she says. “On the career side of things, [RABBITHOLE] feels very much like a project that I had to go through. It’s Emei 2.0. It reflects this period of growing up and becoming the person that I’m supposed to be.”

THE RABBITHOLE TOUR begins next year and includes stops across Europe and North America.
