On September 8th, Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas TX welcomed Bush and their “Loaded: The Greatest Hits Tour” with special guests Jerry Cantrell, Candlebox, Bones as supporting acts.

The evening was started by Bones UK, a rock band from Camden Town, London. Their set list included songs such as “Bikinis”, “Won’t Settle”, “Beautiful Is Boring” and “Pretty Waste”.

Keep up with them through their Instagram and listen to their music catalog on Spotify.

Candlebox, an American rock band from Seattle, Washington were the second act to take over the stage; they started their set with “Arrow” followed by “Happy Pills”. Lead singer Kevin Martin sang “No Sense” a song he said he wrote while being high and talking about what is going around him. At one point as the guitar solos were happening, Kevin signed some drum sticks and launched them towards the crowd.

Kevin also dedicated “Far Behind” to a close friend he lost, this song made everyone in their seats stand up and sing along.

Next up was Jerry Cantrell. He opened his part of the evening with “Psychotic Break” followed by “Them Bones” an Alice in Chains song.  Their setlist also included “Afterglow”, “Brighten” and “Rooster” , also an Alice in Chains song.

Finally the moment that everyone had been waiting for Bush took center stage and opened their set with “Everything Zen”. Bush is made up of lead singer Gavin Rossdale, lead guitarist Chris Traynor, bassist Corey Britz, and drummer Nik Hughes. Bush is a band that is full of energy that makes it impossible to stay seated. Throughout the night Gavin never stopped moving on stage. During “Flowers On A Grave”, Gavin ran through the whole venue including the lawn part to say hi and hug a few lucky fans. As he was making his way through the venue the crowd hyped him up while the rest of the band played long solo parts allowing him to make it back to the stage and finish the song.

In between songs, the band took time to let the fans know they appreciate everyone spending the evening with them and for supporting the band throughout the years.

To bring the night to an end Bush sang “Glycerine” and “Comedown” with the promise to come back soon.
