Although only being a handful of shows into the run, rapper and singer-songwriter Sueco and his Attempted Lover Tour hit its’ stride in Dallas last week in a fully-packed Echo Lounge and Music Hall. Known for hits such as breakout single ‘fast’ to newer titles such as ‘Paralyzed’, ‘Loser’, and ‘Outta My Head’, Sueco’s versatility as an artist and performer was shown on full display. Along with support from Suicidal-Idol, the night was filled to the brim with exciting moments and even better music!
Before the main event of the evening, electronic artist Suicidal -Idol took the stage to get the crowd hyped. Taking musical influences from the rave and scene genres of the early 2000’s but with a modern twist, it was hard to not dance along as she bounced around on stage song after song. Capping off the end of her set with her Tiktok viral hit ‘ecstacy’, her bubbly personality was infectious to say the least as she jumped along with the crowd one last time.

When the crowd is wild enough to where you feel the floor shake underneath your feet, you know the show is going to be good. Entering with one of his newest songs off his most recent release and tour namesake Attempted Lover, ‘Bathroom Floor’ brought everyone from the mosh pits to the balcony seats to a roar. Getting up-close and personal with those on the barricade more than being on the stage itself was a common occurrence throughout the show, at times he would even jump in the crowd and lead moshes himself. The slower songs on the setlist like ‘4:52AM’ and show-closer ‘Mulholland Drive’ hit hard between the mayhem, the raw emotion so evident in Sueco’s performance. From literally surfing on top of the crowd on a surf board, hanging off of the balcony railings, and even setting up a marriage proposal towards the end of the show, a Sueco show is more than just that, it’s an all-out experience from start to finish.
The Attempted Lover Tour is just getting started, ending later this winter on November 2nd. Remaining tickets and VIP upgrades can be found on Sueco’s official website. This is not a tour you want to miss out on!
