Halestorm and I Prevail are on their US tour and finished their Texas run last Sunday at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory. These two headliners alone already promise quite an event but with Hollywood Undead and Fit For A King opening for them, they left a packed amphitheater full of fans screaming and dancing the night away.
Starting the night with Fit For A King, the Texas natives were formed 2007 and has since formed a loyal following in the metalcore scene. They set the tone for a fantastic night playing hits like “The Hell We Create” and “When Everything Means Nothings”. Fans were headbanging and screaming to old and new songs as the band amped up the crowd with an energetic, high jumping performance.

Hollywood Undead follows up the show and it’s easy to tell from their performance why they are fan favorites. “Chaos”, “California Dreaming”, and “Riot” are some of the few songs they played that got the crowd going. The band interacted well with their audience and even called an 8y.o fan on stage that just sent everyone cheering for them. The Rap Rock band from California has been in the game since 2005 and you can tell they know how to entertain from years of experience.

I Prevail took the stage next opening with mesmerizing visuals and familiar favorites including “Bad things”, “Self destruction”, “Hurricane”, and “Blank Space” which was the cover song that started it all. The band formed 2013 and they continue to rise in popularity. They even gave a heartfelt message about mental health, the stigma that surrounds it, and seeking help as needed while performing “Breaking Down”. “If you don’t know the devil then you don’t know me.” they played their hearts out as they encouraged the audience to “Headbang till we break our necks!”

Halestorm ends the night with their typical powerful and electric performance. Lzzy’s powerful vocals coupled with the bands showmanship playing hits like “I miss the misery”, “Love Bites”, “Freak Like Me”, and their incredible collaboration with their co-headliner “Can u see me in the dark?”. Arejay and Lzzy Hale founded the band 1997 and there seems to be no slowing them down. They have a way of interacting with their audience and making their set truly intimate. It’s hard not to feel the emotions of their performance. And you also can’t help but move with the rhythm and beats of the songs played.
Halestorm continues to be loved by fans due to the band’s natural connection with their fanbase and ability to leave it all out on stage for them delivering a truly one of a kind show that words can’t justify. They have a couple more shows in the US before they perform in Canada this October. Check out the rest of their tour dates HERE and be sure to catch a show! You will not regret it, I promise you.
