The Cambridge Room at The House of Blues in Dallas TX welcomed “The Night Shift Tour” headlined by Smallpools with Greyscale, Caroline Romano and The Romance as supporting acts.
First up was Cody Hoffman who goes by the stage name The Romance. His set list included “Fu2urface”, “I’m Not Crazy” and “Never Letting Go Of You”. He asked the crowd to please share any pictures or videos with him on Instagram. Follow him on Instagram and listen to his music on Spotify.

Straight from Nashville, Alternative-Pop singer Caroline Romano was next to take the stage. She opened her part of the evening with “Tell Her I Said Hi”, and with “Body Back” a song she just started performing live. She also performed her newly released song “Doesn’t Matter”.

Next was American Alternative-Rock band Greyscale. “Just Right”, “Twilight (My Heaven)”, “Forever Yours”, “Mowtown” were among the songs the crowd sang and danced to. While hyping the crowd lead vocalist Collin noticed a fans sign asking him to draw her her next tattoo, he gladly agreed to such an important task. Greyscale thanked the fans for joining them and asked for them to cheer for the previous acts.

Consisting of Sean Scanlon (vocals), Mike Kamerman (guitar), and Beau Kuther (drums) American Indie-Pop band Smallpools brought “The Night Shift Tour” to live at The Cambridge Room. Opening their set with “Nightshift”, “Passenger Side” and “Street Fight” Smallpools had the fans singing along.
Throughout the night, Sean would join the crowd and engage with them, allowing him to maintain the energy that kept everyone jumping and singing long from song to song without missing a beat.
Songs included in the setlist were “Fake a Happy Face!”, “Over & Over” and “American Love”. Right before performing “Lovetap!” Sean gave the crowd two rules to follow for the night, rule number one: no cellphones, he wanted for everyone to enjoy and live in the moment and rule number two: “jump when I jump” and with this Smallpools started playing. In the middle of the song Sean got off the stage and made his way into the middle of the pit and finished the song surrounded by the fans.
As Sean introduced “Million Bucks”, he asked one of the security guards for his name and assistance. He explained how there was an important part of the song that required a tambourine and it was his duty to toss said tambourine to him if he failed he “would ruin the tour” which prompted the crowd and Eddie, the security guard to laugh. Eddie agreed to participate in the important task and without failing the tour was saved. During “Killer Whales” a six foot inflatable killer whale made an appearance and passed around in the air while the song played.
To bring the night to a conclusion Smallpools sang one of the many fan favorites “Dreaming” which was the best way to end the night. Right before going backstage Sean thanked the fans and shook their hands.
