The City of Dallas welcomed Australian natives Lisa and Jessica Origliasso known as The Veronicas.
With doors opening at seven at night fans started to walk into The Echo Lounge and take their seats either in the VIP area or along the barricade to be as close as possible to what would be a great night.
Alternative-Indie singer, Jesse Jo Stark, was the first one to take over the stage. She opened her set with “So Bad” “Dandelion” and “Tornado”. Jesse Jo was full of energy and was very interactive with her crowd getting them to sing and dance along with her which helped set the mood for the rest of the night. Listen to her on Spotify.

Next up, were The Veronicas. The Pop duo started the evening with “Take Me on the Floor” followed by “When It All Falls Apart” that included a “Seven Nation Army” intro by The White Stripes. Before starting their third song of the night “Detox”, the crowd cheered non-stop for The Veronicas, allowing them to take it all in and appreciate every single minute.
With an appearance at last years When We Were Young Festival, the “Gothic Summer” Tour was their first tour in 10 years which included 22 Cities across 5 weeks in the USA. This tour included a mixture of a very entertaining light show that matched the fun and energetic hit songs that they have had throughout their career; they also included songs from their newest album of the same title.
The Veronicas were talkative and interacted with the crowd so well thus creating an amazing atmosphere at The Echo Lounge. The fans enjoyed how synchronized they were together while dancing and showing off their strong and powerful vocals.
The setlist for the night had songs like “In My Blood”, “Here to Dance” and “You Ruin Me”. They closed the night with “4ever” and “Untouched” which are without a doubt fan favorites. Before exiting the stage The Veronicas promised to come back next year, thanked the fans one last time and went backstage bringing the wonderful night to an end.
