On the rainy evening of October 29, Story of the Year brought their “20 Years of Page Avenue Tour” to the city of Dallas making it their second time visiting the Dallas-Fort Worth area since their last visit for the Taste Addison Festival back in June.

Sporting a pink bunny onesie Youth Fountain was the first to take the stage. His set list included songs “My Mental Health”, “Scavenger”, “Blooms” and an unreleased song titled “Clarity”. This set the mood for the rest of the night.

Next up was He Is Legend, opening their set with “White Bat” followed by “Burn All Your Rock Records” and “The Seduction”. In between songs, lead singer Schuylar Croom gave a shout out to Story of the Year for having them on this tour.

As the fans sang and head banged, He Is Legend brought their set to an end with “I Am Hollywood” and with the promise of coming back next year to Dallas.

As the lights dimmed down lead singer Dan Marsala, guitarist Ryan Phillips, backing vocals and guitarist Philip Sneed, bassist Adam Russell and drummer Josh Wills one by one appeared on stage. This prompted the crowd to cheer and clap as Story of The Year started to sing “And the Hero Will Drown”, followed by “Divide and Conquer” and “Dive Right In”. They also sang fan favorites like “Anthem of Our Dying Day”, “War”, “Sidewalks” and ”Falling Down”.

During a fan interaction Dan talked about how much fun they have when visiting Dallas. As the night went on they talked about going on tour with Yellowcard, right before singing a small portion of “Ocean Avenue”, then they did a small cover of My Chemical Romance’s “I’m (Not) Okay”, and The Used’s “The Taste Of Ink”.

To bring the night to an end, Story Of The Year asked the crowd to sing along with them “Until the Day I Die”, the fans were beyond happy and excited to sing along.
