Oracle Sisters, Ryder the Eagle, Mei Simone’s

Ryder the Eagle, the French singer and songwriter took over the stage with one of the most immersive audience experiences I’ve seen live, jumping off the stage and into the crowd to dance around, hand one fan his microphone, and put his cowboy hat on another audience member. 

Mei Semones came out on stage with support from a violin, viola, and more. While an Ann Arbor native, Semones is currently based in Brooklyn performing a blend of Japanese and English lyrics, and jazz and indie pop sounds. 

The Oracle Sisters began their show with a memorable entrance. With an initial sound reminiscent of a retro period of television sounds, the band members slowly trickled onto the stage and established a very communal energy in the Ballroom. The smiles on and off stage, amazing electric sounds, and stellar vocals created a very friendly and beach-like listening experience for me.
