Canadian singer-songwriter Lauren Spencer Smith released her debut album “Mirror” on July 14th.
In this autobiographical album Lauren uses her personal experiences and her exceptional writing skills to talk about breakups, friend breakups, the feeling of falling out of love and falling in love again, and realizing that going through these emotions and situations helps you become the person that you are.
“That Part” is a love song filled with desire, hope, and admittance of fear in the space of loving another and the first single of “Mirror”
“Mirror” is a sad pop ballad 15 track album that includes songs like “28”, “Never Been In Love”, “Narcissist”, “Do It All Again”. In the first half of the album, Lauren sings about how in certain relationships she had no boundaries, she was walked over, and not loved how she deserved to be loved.
In the second part of the album Lauren sings how she learned to set boundaries and is now being loved how she deserves to be loved.
Lauren will be going on a global headlining tour of 42 dates featuring support from Blake Rose, Henry Moodie, and Geena Fontanella. Make sure to catch her at a city near you!
