Alternative singer-songwriter Andrew McMahon is preparing for a summer on the road, announcing a brief run with his group Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness this July that is set to hit multiple cities throughout the United States, ending with appearances at three dates of Sad Summer Festival. These summer shows will feature support from flor and The Starting Line on select dates. His summer shows will kick off this weekend with appearances at Bonnaroo and WonderRoad festivals on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, before heading to the United Kingdom for a brief set of performances.
His UK run culminates in a performance at London’s O2 Academy Islington on July 5, which is set to be live-streamed through Veeps, and will feature a career-spanning setlist of tracks from Something Corporate, Jack’s Mannequin, and of course Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness. Tickets for the livestream are available now, and the stream will be available to view for one week following the event for ticketholders. The livestream will also offer opportunities for fans to donate to Andrew’s Dear Jack Foundation, raising funds for adolescents and young adults diagnosed with cancer.
The upcoming dates are in support of their latest album Tilt at the Wind No More, which was released in late March. Tickets for all upcoming shows can be found on Andrew’s website.
